Naomi and Ely are the best of friends but, as most friendships go, they tend to have a lot in common; including the boys they like. So the buddies decide to combat this issue head on, by writing up a no-kiss list; a list of boys who neither of them are allowed to kiss, to save each other feelings of jealousy and resentment. Soon, though, Naomi finds herself falling for Ely a little, despite him being gay. This isn't a problem that sticks around long as soon Naomi meets a guy called Bruce and the pair start dating. But Naomi is heartbroken beyond her wildest nightmares when Ely kisses Bruce, with the excuse that his name wasn't on the no-kiss list. He's unapologetic, however, and it soon dawns on Naomi that she has lost her lifelong best buddy as well as her boyfriend - and that's going to to take some getting over. Maybe the key to true love means scrapping the list altogether.
