'One of the main reasons I really wanted to do this was to export this extraordinary enterprise of free information', Benedict explained. 'It's a story about the rise of this new idea that information can be transformed by being published in its raw form.' Bill Condon also gives an insight into the meaning of the movie title: 'The press has always been known as 'The Fourth Estate', he says. ''The Fifth Estate' has emerged recently and it represents the brave new world of citizen journalism in the internet age.'
