Mark Whitacre is a successful businessman, he works at a giant Agriculture Industry company called Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). As he climbs the ranks int eh company it becomes apparent the business and company directors are involved in price-fixing. Whitacre decides it's time to inform the authorities of their dubious business on goings.

The FBI are very interested in what the businessman has to say, but they inform him he needs to supply they with proof. Now fully equipped with a wire, recording equipment and camera equipment all over the office Mark Whitacre feels like a secret agent on a mission for the common man. The more the FBI look into this case, the less clear the situation becomes, it appears half of Whitacre's stories are real and half are fabrications of the truth.
