Three very different people find themselves in one and others company on a road trip each travelling to find something missing in their lives. Gordy is a teenage boy who's recently fallen for his fellow traveller Martine, a young girl with serious parental issues. Brett is the older member of the group, Martine was a little hasty in inviting Brett to join them in their car, after all they know nothing about this man who turns out to be an ex con looking to reconcile with his ex wife.
Essentially The Yellow Handkerchief is a love story with life changing circumstances for all three characters.
