Review of Flobots single Rise.
Flobots have got to be known mostly for their mainstream success, 'Handlebars'. That was quite a mellow chilled out track, but their latest offering is something very different.
'Rise' is a complete contrast in that it's somewhat shouty. There's a bit of a rap vibe is going on, but then a really clever violin tune to compliment and slightly soften the track. It really works well.
The trademark Flobots catchy lyrics remain, however different the track may be. It certainly grows on you.
