Francois And The Atlas Mountains' new single, City Kiss, will be released on April 16th, 2012. It is the third singles from the band's latest album, E Volo Love, which was released in 2011. Francois and the Atlas Mountains will be touring the UK throughout April, as well as playing a range of festivals over the summer.
The video for City Kiss was directed by Elliot Dear who, despite having a few narrative points outlined, was not expecting the video to be so spontaneous. Francois navigates the streets of London on late night buses and trains on the Underground. He also gets involved in a snowball fight in Hackney; the weather being something that Elliot said was unexpected.
Francois has been a musician for nearly ten years; he moved to Bristol from France in 2003. The Atlas Mountains - a group of his friends - came together in 2005 and, not long afterwards, they released their debut album as a band, called People To Forget, in 2006. Francois' debut solo album, Les Anciennes Falaises, was released in 2004.
