Frank Sinatra once performed Alice Cooper's You & ME as a thank-you to the rocker for helping a pal's son realise his baseball dream.
The School's Out hitmaker had no idea the kid he invited to join him in the dug-out for a celebrity baseball game was the son of Sinatra's best pal Jilly Rizzo - but he quickly found out that his generosity had been noted by his hero when Ol' Blue Eyes performed Cooper's song during a magical Hollywood Bowl performance in 1977.
The rock star tells Revolver magazine, "We had a celebrity baseball game and this kid couldn't get in, and I took him and put him on the bench - and it was Frank's best friend's son.
"He said, 'I owe you one'. And that's how he paid me back: He did one of my songs at the Hollywood Bowl. Isn't that great...? He was cool."
