
Frankie Sandford (born Francesca Sandford, 14.01.1989) Frankie Sandford is an English singer and a member of the girlband The Saturdays.
Childhood: Frankie Sandford was born in Upminster, London. Her parents are Kevin and Viv Sandford. She attended a private dance school after school before leaving to enrol at a Romford stage school to study musical arts. Her previous jobs include working in a bar and as a sales assistant in a clothes shop.
Musical Career: Frankie Sandford started out her career when she was 12 in the pop band S Club Juniors, winning a spot after CBBC auditions with S Club 7's management. Their first single was 'One Step Closer' which opened at number 2 in the UK charts. Their second single, 'Automatic High', and third, 'New Direction', also reached number two. Their debut album 'Together' reached number 5. They changed their name to S Club 8 as they got older and released a second album, 'Sundown', in 2003 before splitting in 2005. Frankie joined The Saturdays in 2007 alongside another former S Club 8 member Rochelle Humes nee Wiseman and released debut single 'If This Is Love' in 2008 as well as their platinum debut album 'Chasing Lights'. They released their highest charting single 'I Just Can't Get Enough', a cover of the song by Depeche Mode, at number 2 in 2009. Frankie made an appearance on Kids in Glass Houses' track 'Undercover Lover' in 2010.
Other Career: ventures Frankie Sandford and the other Saturdays appeared on 'Hollyoaks Later' in 2008. Frankie has also taken part in the TV series 'The Door' as well as teen TV show 'I Dream' with S Club 8 in 2004 and the paranormal show 'Ghosthunting with...' in 2010. In 2010, the band had their own reality TV show 'The Saturdays: 24/7'. Frankie was ranked number 17 in FHM's 2009 Sexiest Women poll while Zoo named her has having the 'best bum'. She has also helped with the 2010 autobiography 'The Saturdays: Our Story'. The Saturdays have been the face of Veet hair removal, Impulse women's deodorant and Nintendo 3DS game, 'Nintendogs + Cats'. Frankie Sandford:
Personal life: Frankie Sandford dated McFly's Dougie Poynter from 2008 to 2010. Since 2010, she has been in a relationship with Manchester City footballer Wayne Bridge. Frankie was reported to have been suffering from depression in 2011 but has since reported on her recovery. She has two tattoos; a star on her wrist and one reading 'Sunshine 'n' Showers' under her neck which was what her grandmother used to call her.
