The Wonder Years star Fred Savage landed in trouble with the law earlier this week (begs06May13) after he was caught chatting on his cell phone while driving.

The actor-turned-director's Mercedes-Benz was pulled over by cops who spotted the star using his mobile device near the Universal Studios lot in Los Angeles.

He was cited for not using a hands-free kit while in charge of a car and slapped with a $175 (£109) fine, reports Tmz.com.
