Kiefer Sutherland recently received the worst kind of negative review – one from a fellow actor. Freddie Prinze Jr., who co-starred with Sutherland on the recently revived 24, recalls that his unpleasant on-set relationship with Sutherland almost caused the younger actor to leave the business for good.

FPJ has since found his footing, but he had a few rough years after 24.

"I did '24,' it was terrible," the 38-year-old actor told ABC News about his experience on the hit Fox series in 2010. "I hated every moment of it."

He continued: "Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face. I think everyone that's worked with him has said that."

Prinze didn’t elaborate on the details of his experience, but he did hint that he was made to take his shoes off to make Sutherland seem taller, when the two were doing scenes together "Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire me next time," he quipped. "You know I'm 6 feet and he's 5'4"."

Eventually, Prinze left 24 and spent some time away from acting. However, he was soon to find that there was no escape from temperamental co-workers "I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ's sake," he revealed. "It was a crazier job than working with Kiefer."

On Tuesday, Sutherland issued a remarkably professional response, via his rep. The actor claimed that this was the first time he had heard Prinze's complaints and he wished his former co-star all the best. Hopefully this means peace can be restored in the land now.
