Fact: Actress Gabourey Sidibe made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (16Aug15) by joining her EMPIRE co-stars Jussie Smollett and BRYSHERE GRAY as a back-up dancer during their performance of You're So Beautiful. Smollett previously revealed he co-wrote the song with "Gabby on the brain", telling MTV News that the actress is "confident and sexy and beautiful, but every once in a while, you need to hear the words you're so beautiful."

Fact: Actress Gabourey Sidibe is adding author to resume by writing her own memoir. The Precious star will open up about her life in an as-yet-untitled book, which will hit stores in 2017. A statement from Sidibe reads, "I've been writing since I was a child and have always had so many stories to tell that are too long, shady, and impolite to share in interviews. It brings me much joy to add Published Writer to my resume of Actor and part-time Foot Model." Sidibe follows in the footsteps of her Empire co-star Taraji P. Henson, who will release her memoir next year (16).
