Gabrielle Union has a ''shoe vault'' in her home.

The 'Being Mary Jane' star has revealed her and husband Dwyane Wade have taken a unique approach to storing their many pairs of footwear at their Miami abode.

She explained: ''He built a shoe vault. It could have been our guest room, but it's a shoe vault.

''And then he's also taken over every closet in every other guest room, so the closet in our actual bedroom is technically the same. But that's not including the other five closet takeovers and the shoe vault.''

And the 42-year-old actress has insisted she would be much quicker than Dwyane at getting ready if she didn't have to do her hair and make up.

She added to PEOPLE magazine: ''If his hair had just been cut and my hair and makeup were done, and all we had to do was put on clothes, I'd be done way sooner than him. He could get lost in his closet. His closet is way more impressive than mine.

''He has a very clear sense of what he wants to accomplish every day, and if I was helping him he would be naked! I'd be like, 'You look amazing - you should leave just like that!'''
