Garth Brooks' boxed set 'Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influence' has earned the country singer his 9th No.1 album on the Billboard 200 chart in its second week of release.

The music package, which contains 6 CD's and 2 DVD's, is exclusively only sold through Walmart and shifted 146,000 copies by the weeks end on Dec 8th, according to Neilson SoundScan.

The boxed set was released on Thanksgiving Day for $25 and sold 164,000 copies in its first few days, reaching No.3.

But in its first full week, the new set beats the likes of One Direction, Kelly Clarkson and Britney Spears on the billboard chart.

This is Brooks second box set to reach No.1 with his first, 'The Limited Series', earning the top spot back in 1998.

Last week's No.1, One Direction's 'Midnight Memories', falls in the second position with 117,000 copies sold. Kelly Clarkson's first Christmas album 'Wrapped In Red' moved up to the 3rd position after selling 112,000.

The only debut in this week's top ten is Britney Spears' eighth studio album 'Britney Jean' which sold 107,000. The industry forecast had her latest set predicted to open around the 115,000 to 120,000 mark, according to Billboard.

'Britney Jean' is the 33 year-olds lowest selling debut album as her first studio album '.Baby One More Time' (1999) was the previous lowest start, which sold only 121,000 copies.

Rounding off the top five is another Christmas album for the stars of A&E's 'Duck Dynasty', the Robertson family. Their studio set, 'Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas', sold 105,000 copies.

Eminem's epic 'Marshall Mathers LP 2' falls in 6th position with 84,000 copies and trailing in 7th is Pentatox with their viral sensation 'Little Boy Drummer' selling 60,000. Michael Bublé's 'Chrsitmas' returns to the top ten at No.8 selling 57,000 units and in 9th is Katy Perry's 'Prism' which shifted 51,000.

Closing out this week's top ten is Mary J. Blige's 'A Mary Christmas', with nearly selling 51,000 copies.

Garth Brooks is enjoying a flood of good news as of late, the country singer recently announced that he will be hitting the road again for a world tour in 2014. Brooks retired from touring in 2000 but is now eyeing a return sometime next year.
