Frankie Cocozza appears to be living up to his reputation as this year's X Factor bad boy, after swearing during Sunday evening's live X Factor results show (23rd October 2011). The rocker from Brighton, who found himself in the bottom two last week, was understandably relieved to hear he was safe but took his celebrations too far.
According to the UK's OK Magazine, the 18-year-old dropped an 'F-Bomb' after host DERMOT O'LEARY announced he had made it through to next week's show. The singer turned to mentor Gary Barlow, pumped his fists in the air and yelled, "F*cking have it!", while some audience members booed. Although Barlow has consistently defended Cocozza's involvement in the show for his charisma and image, audiences appear to be tiring of the singer's weak vocals. His rendition of 'Rocks' by Primal Scream on Saturday (22nd October 2011), was preceded by a VT of the young rocker on a night out with friends. He has previously spoken of his love for hard partying and revealed several girls name tattooed on his buttocks at the London auditions. It seems Frankie's performance also angered Primal Scream, who used their official Twitter profile to say, "Sorry to hear 'Rocks' was used on X-Factor. We don't endorse this".
Nevertheless, Cocozza will feature in next week's round of live performances, along with the likes of boy band The Risk, Irish songstress Janet Devlin and Manchester-born R&B singer Misha B.
