British singer Gary Barlow's quest to find new musicians for Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee concert has led him to a slum in Kenya.
The Take That star is looking for musicians in the Commonwealth for his collaboration with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber at the prestigious event at Buckingham Palace, London on June (12), and his trip to Kenya has already paid dividends as he met several potential music stars.
He posted on his Twitter page, "Spent the morning at the Kibera slum. Met some young, inspirational musicians there."
Barlow's visit to Commonwealth countries, which are former members of the British Empire, will be the subject of a forthcoming Bbc documentary.
