Where do all the stars turn first to resurrect a failing career? No, we’re not talking about the tabloid press here. If you’re a musician, who hasn’t gone platinum in the past couple years, your best bet may be a temporary move to the talent show circuit.

Gavin Rossdale
Could this be a career reboot for Rossdale, who hasn't released an album since 2008?

In not entirely unrelated news, Gavin Rossdale has reportedly joined The Voice and will help mentor his better half, Gwen’s Stefani’s team. Stefani just took on the coach gig for this coming season, and now it looks like the Bush frontman will assist with mentoring.
Stefani announced the (moderately) exciting news via Twitter.

"It's official!" she tweeted Monday. "So excited to have @GavinRossdale on #TeamGwen."

The family support runs deep with these two. Just read Stefani’s endorsement of her beau, via Access Hollywood.

"He is super articulate and he has a really good opinion, and he is smart and he's been doing a really good job," she said for the website.

"We both have, I think, a lot of experience in the sense that when you look back at all the shows and all the things we've done … it's so fun to be in the position to meet (all the contestants)," she added.

Are you looking forward to this season of The Voice?

Apparently Stefani could not be more excited to join forces with her husband on screen.
