General Fiasco release 'Don't You Ever' on 27th February 2012 on Dirty Hit, a track taken from their forthcoming second album, which is due early summer 2012. Their last release, the Waves EP, saw the track 'The Age You Start Losing Friends' named by Huw Stephen's as the 'Hottest Record In The World' on his BBC Radio 1 show. What's more, the band played a sold out UK tour.
General Fiasco have been added to the line-up for the HMV Next Big Thing Festival; they will also play the Borderline on the 7th February, 2012 prior to their previously announced UK tour for later that month. After these shows, the group will make the trip to Moscow to play a one-off show, their first visit to the Russian city.
The video for Don't You Ever sees an unidentified person in a motorcycle helmet fiddling around with a projection of bright paint colours, while pretty blonde woman stands in the background, wearing black lingerie.
The band, from Bellaghy, County Derry, is Owen Strathern on vocals/bass; brother Enda on guitar; Stephen Leacock on drums and guitarist / keyboard player Stuart Bell.
