George Clooney Received A Belated Wedding Gift From U.s. Tv Host Stephen Colbert As The Presenter Made His Debut Taking Over From David Letterman On America's The Late Show.
The Hollywood actor made an appearance on the first installment of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night (08Sep15), which marked the host's first turn in charge of the series which was fronted by late night legend Letterman for more than 30 years.
During the interview, Clooney joked about becoming a trophy husband after marrying British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin last year (14), telling Colbert, "Shiny and pretty - that's mostly what I do now."
The host also presented the actor with a belated wedding gift - a Tiffany paperweight inscribed with the words 'I don't know you' - and Colbert joked, "That's just to remind you that we don't know each other."
During the show, Clooney also appeared in a sketch based around a fake movie, while the other guest was Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
