With nothing confirmed, it’s difficult to know who called who what, but TMZ are reporting that Barack Obama, George Clooney and Steve Wynn were all called an  “a—–e” at least once in an alcohol fuelled spat at a fancy dinner in L.A, which occurred two weeks ago at Botero restaurant at Wynn's Encore hotel.

George ClooneyHere's George Clooney. That's about the only fact in this article

Apparently (we’ll be saying that word a lot, or synonyms like, reportedly and allegedly) Wynn said Clooney got drunk on tequila shots and gave it to Wynn when he – allegedly - said something negative about the president. Reportedly, Clooney launched an F-bomb at Wynn and took off. Wynn reportedly told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "When he's (Clooney) is drinking, he considers himself a close personal buddy of the President. Clooney's fun to be with when he's sober ... . If you have a chance to drink with him, you want to get there early, and don't stay late."

More: was Clooney even drunk during this argument?

In a statement Clooney (apparently) said: “There were nine people at that table so you can ask them. Steve likes to go on rants He called the president an a—–e. That is a fact. I said the president was my longtime friend and then he said, ‘Your friend is an a—–e’. At that point I told Steve that HE was an a—e and I wasn’t going to sit at his table while he was being such a jackass. And I walked out. There were obviously quite a few more adjectives and adverbs used by both of us. It had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with character.”

According to (there’s another one, see?) Clooney, there were nine people at the dinner. He said, "It had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with character." According to TMZ, Wynn said, "Everybody who's in my business -- the casino business -- knows to take actors with a grain of salt."
