George Clooney was involved in a car crash on Thursday night (30.04.15).

The 'Monuments Men' star and his father-in-law Ramzi Alamuddin were being driven home from a birthday dinner for Amal Clooney's sister Tala when their car was involved in a small accident.

However, the pair appeared to be uninjured following the small crash and George was seen with his arm around Ramzi as they left the scene.

After the crash on Park Avenue, another car picked George and Ramzi up and took them home.

Earlier that evening, the men were spotted dining with Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin and the birthday girl in New York. Amal had to miss the event as she was working.

Meanwhile, Amal and George are reportedly having a ''great time'' in New York City after recently moving there so the 37-year-old human rights lawyer could take up her position as a lecturer at Columbia Law School.

A source told PEOPLE previously: ''They're having a great time in New York - both working really hard and also having fun together.

''Amal and George look happy and in love. They're spending time with other couples and friends who are bright and driven and interested in improving the world.''
