Late Beatles star George Harrison was remembered across the world on Tuesday (29Nov11) as fans marked the 10th anniversary of the musician's death.
A series of events were staged in the guitarist's hometown of Liverpool, England in his honour, including a special memorial service at the city's Anglican Cathedral.
Tribute gigs also took place at St George's Hall and The Cavern Club as part of the day of remembrance in the city.
Harrison was also honoured further afield with a public candlelit vigil by his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
The musician passed away on 29 November, 2001 after losing his battle with cancer.
