Geri Halliwell hopes her love life will have a ''fairytale ending''.

The Spice Girls singer has endured a string of failed relationships but she is adamant her romantic mishaps haven't put her off finding love and she would like to get married.

The 40-year-old star - who recently dated Russell Brand - said: ''The deal is, I'm really open to relationships and marriage. I'd like to think there was a fairytale ending for me and I'm very open to it.

''You'll have to ask me that when I'm 90 years old and I'll let you know the answer.''

But for now, Geri is concentrating on her career and being a mother to her six-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna.

The 'Wannabe' singer says Bluebell is now old enough to understand her past with the Spice Girls and is now at an age where she could engage with the group's back catalogue.

Geri - who will attend the opening night of the new Spice Girls musical 'Viva Forever!' with her bandmates, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Oh my God, I should show her the Spice Girls movie. I've never ever thrown the Spice Girls down her throat so she hasn't seen it yet but I'm going to do that.

''She's coming to the premiere of 'Viva Forever!' so she will get the picture after that about exactly what goes on when mum is in Spice Girl-mode. People at school ask her about the band and she has grown up with it all and I guess she understands it to a point. But, yes, the movie will help.''
