Gigi Hadid was the latest victim of an idiotic red carpet prankster called Vitalii Sediuk, after the latter grabbed her upon leaving Max Mara's fashion show in Milan yesterday (September 21st 2016) with her 19-year-old sister Bella Hadid. The terrified model was forced to hurt her assailant to free herself.

The 21-year-old model and girlfriend of Zayn Malik had been taking photos with fans outside of Max Mara's fashion show venue during Milan Fashion Week when the incident occurred. At first she was well-protected by her entourage as she was led to an awaiting car, but just before she could take off, Sediuk stepped in.

As soon as the man who was assisting Gigi through the crowd left her side, Sediuk seized her around the middle from behind and lifted her off the ground. A frantic Gigi released her grip on her sister's hand and elbowed his grinning face hard, before he released her and took off up the street as Gigi attempted to follow.

'What the f**k?!' She yelled when Sediuk accosted her, as Bella screamed: 'Let go of her!'

'Get the f**k off me! Who the f**k are you?! You piece of s**t!' Gigi shouted furiously. The flustered model was then immediately led to her car by a concerned looking security official. 'Can you go find that guy?' She asked, before leaving.

Some reports after the event suggested that overreacted by elbowing him in the face, a claim that she argued on Twitter later. 'I'm a HUMAN BEING - and had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger', she said.

Sediuk also defended his actions with an Instagram post. 'While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner, have nothing to do with high fashion', he said. 'By doing this I encourage fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram. You can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake up call for Anna Wintour who turned Vogue into tabloid by putting Kardashians and other doubtful celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine.'

In case you wondering, yes, Vitalii Sediuk is the same guy who got slapped by Will Smith for trying to kiss him at the Moscow premiere of 'Men in Black III', and the guy who threw himself at Brad Pitt as he was signing autographs at the premiere of 'Maleficent'. So if you're wondering whether Gigi had the right to assault a man who goes out of his way to cause distress to innocent strangers, we'd have to say she did.
