Mel B commented this week that a headline slot "has been talked about".
The reunited group – minus Victoria Beckham – could be set to bring girl power to Worthy Farm in June next year to take one of the two remaining headline slots, after grime megastar Stormzy was confirmed at the top of Friday night’s bill last month.
The Sun reported comments made by Mel B, who said that headlining Glastonbury had “been talked about” with organisers Emily and Michael Eavis.

Around 85 tonnes of plastic and cans are recycled after each Glastonbury after being left behind by revellers.
Glastonbury Festival is conspicuous by its absence from the calendar of the British summer of 2018. However, its organiser Emily Eavis revealed that a significant plan is afoot for when the prestigious festival returns next year, announcing that the use of plastic bottles will be outlawed.
Attending the NME Awards in London on Tuesday night (February 14th), where Glasto won the Best Festival Award, Eavis told The Mirror: “Our big mission for next year is banning plastic bottles. We’re in the middle of it at the moment.”
Despite requests to leave the campsite as clean as possible, approximately one million plastic bottles are used and abandoned at the festival site during its five-day run when it is held. Over half of the waste left over at the site is recycled each festival, adding up to 85 tonnes of cans and plastic in 2014 alone.
The festival might be over but there's still plenty of performances to watch on catch-up that you might've missed.
There aren't many weekends of the year that most of the country pray for rain, all except the fortuitous 250,000 people that descend on a farm in Glastonbury as most of the country sit at home and watch with what the twitter hashtag describes as #glastoenvy. There are of course some benefits to being an armchair viewer of Glastonbury Festival. The beer is always cold, the toilets are always clean and set clashes are not a concern.
So as the likes of David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Corbyn all hit Worthy Farm for the weekend, these were the five best sets of Glastonbury 2017 that are well worth re-watching from the comfort of home - accompanied by a great sound system.

Here are a few of the best moments over the Glastonbury weekend.
Another Glastonbury extravaganza has come and gone, and this time we won't see the UK's most renowned music event again for two years. It was certainly a week to remember, however, with top sets from headliners Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Ed Sheeran and so much other fun going on.

Ed Sheeran performed a spectacular set on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday.
Ed Sheeran headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival this weekend and you'd be hard-pushed to find a more rocking acoustic set anywhere. To a 200,000 strong crowd, he played a mixture of his biggest hits as well as the lesser known numbers from the likes of 'Divide' and 'X'.

Glastonbury Festival confirmed an additional 83 acts on top of the three already-announced headliners on Thursday.
Glastonbury Festival has announced the first tranche of artists to be playing at Worthy Farm this year, confirming 83 acts in addition to the three main headliners of Ed Sheeran, Radiohead and Foo Fighters.
Among the dozens of confirmed acts announced on Thursday (March 30th) are some surprisingly massive names, not least in the shape of pop royalty Katy Perry and Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro who could expect to headline virtually any other festival in the world.
A large number of music veterans and heroes of yesteryear are also scheduled to make appearances. Former Bee Gee Barry Gibb is set to take the traditional Sunday afternoon ‘legend’ slot, filled by Madness, Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton in the previous three editions of Glastonbury.
Frontman Matt Healy said ‘Glastonbury stands for everything that our generation wants.’
The 1975 frontman Matt Healy took time out of the band’s Glastonbury set on Saturday (June 25) to speak about his thoughts on the EU referendum result. Dressed in a white flared suit, the singer said he felt the older generation had voted for something that his generation didn't want, causing cheers from the crowd at Worthy Farm.

The band closed the three day festival last month, having last performed there in 2007.
A blog post on the official website of legendary rockers The Who has claimed the band’s Glastonbury set was ‘sabotaged’ and that they were drafted in to headline the festival as a last minute replacement for Prince. The entry is thought to have been written by a member of the band’s road crew who worked behind the scenes during the band’s headling set.

A new study by tech company Withings claims that going to music festivals is a pretty effective form of exercise.
Music festivals: weekends of massive over-indulgence that take a serious toll on your body, most of us believe. Wrongly, as it transpires, as a new study indicates that the average festival attendee ends up burning off a huge number of calories every day through dancing and walking between stages.
According to the NME, a tech company called Withings has published a study claiming that music fans at festivals burn off as much as 9,000 calories over a three-day event, walking over 15 miles in the process. Not sure that quite offsets the effect of treating your body like a dustbin at the same time, but it’s interesting news nonetheless.

The 'Air Balloon' singer is said to have collapsed in the VIP area at the festival last weekend, but quickly recovered.
Lily Allen was reportedly treated by paramedics at Glastonbury after partying a bit too hard over the weekend. The 30 year pop star, who is a regular attendee at the annual music spectacular, received medical attention after collapsing backstage on the Saturday night (June 27th).
According to a report in The Sun on Sunday (July 5th), Lily was with her husband Sam Cooper and a number of friends in the VIP area when she passed out having sat down on the grass to take a breather. Witnesses told the paper that she was “out of it” for about 45 minutes, as concerned friends took her to a nearby car and called paramedics, who after supplying her with oxygen decided that she needed no further attention.

One audience member’s cry for attention during Kanye’s Glasto performance has been condemned by fans as misogynistic and disgusting.
A Glastonbury audience member has been criticised online for flying a flag showing a still from Kim Kardashian’s sex tape during Kanye West’s headlining set. Labour MP Gareth Thomas believes that Glastonbury could be held in an outer London borough in 2023, if it wins a European Capital of Culture bid.
Could the Glastonbury Festival one day be moving to London? An idea to temporarily relocate the legendary festival has been floated by Labour MP Gareth Thomas, who has suggested that the British capital would host it for one year in 2023 if London won the bid for European Capital of Culture.
Thomas, the MP for Harrow West, is campaigning to be selected as the party’s mayoral candidate. He suggested that Epping Forest or Hackney Marshes could be considered as one-off site for the festival, according to a report by The Independent.
He would push for a special edition of Glastonbury as part of a series of “pop-up” arts and culture events throughout London, even the outskirts, during 2023, if he were elected as Mayor.

Unsurprisingly Kanye West's headline set at Glastonbury last night has divided internet opinion.
Last night US rapper Kanye West headlined Glastonbury, Britain’s most iconic music festival, in a decision which was controversial even by standards set in recent years (remember all those Metallica nay sayers?). But now that it’s all over, just what did the Glastonbury audience make of Yezzus on the Pyramid stage?

With a stage set which featured nothing more than a ceiling made up of a few hundred lightbulbs, Kanye West took on Glastonbury solo, opening up with the very appropriate ‘Stronger’. But it wasn’t long until some drama went down, as midway through the third song Kanye fell victim to a stage invader, later identified as comedian Lee Nelson.
