Glenn Close hand-picked Sinead O'Connor to sing lyrics she wrote for the haunting theme of her new movie Albert Nobbs.
The actress was inspired to compose the words after hearing Irish songwriter Brian Byrne's Lay Your Head Down instrumental.
And using modern technology, Close was able to listen in to the recording session from her home in Maine as O'Connor sang her lyrics from Bulgaria via Skype to Byrne, who is based in Ireland.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the recording process took seven hours.
