Rockers Godsmack have been forced to relocate an upcoming show in Boston, Massachusetts to Illinois after discovering their massive stage set would not fit into the venue.
The band was due to perform at the city's UIC Pavilion on Friday (15Oct10), but when they found their massive video screens and lighting rig were too big for the venue, they were forced to switch the concert to a larger building in Rosemont, Illinois.
The gig will now take place at the Rosemont Theatre instead.
A statement posted on the UIC Pavilion website, reads, "Due to the proportions of the band's larger-than-life stage presentation - which involves video screens and extensive sound and light rigging - it has been determined that the event is incompatible with the venue. In order to keep the concert in the marketplace, the show is being moved to The Rosemont Theatre in northwest suburban Rosemont, Illinois."
Fans are encouraged to switch their tickets for new ones before attending the gig.
