Gok Wan has done many things in his career, most of them revolving around giving the impression of attempting to make women feel good about themselves whilst getting himself in shot in as many scenes as possible on. However there promises to be a far more serious tone afoot as Wan visits his father's country land of China to look at the country's economics and industry of what is expected to be the most powerful nation on earth within the next twenty years.
The program 'Made In China' sees Gok travel through the country and visits factories that, together, produce one in every four manufactured objects on the planet, though his trip doesn't follow a similar path by any means; places visited include his father's village as well as towns dedicated to making single products, including Xintang, which makes 260 million pairs of jeans every year.
