Review of Stare Into The Sun Single by Graffiti6

You can ignore the chintzy (Un) co-incidentals around the origins of their name - all of the members are all into graffiti apparently, and when they play live there's an even half dozen of them - Graffiti 6 are a band who it would appear are keen to make up for lost time.

Graffiti6 Stare Into The Sun Single

Few except his mum would remember singer Jamie Scott's previous dart at stardom as the titular frontman of Jamie Scott & The Town. Robert The Bruce however seems to be the patron saint of failed entertainers and after teaming up with DJ Tommy D (Producer of RIght Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy", but I've found it in my heart to forgive him) and Jimi Crayon on "Visuals" - how twenty first century - he's ready for another tilt at stardom.

So how are they doing? Well, Stare Into The Sun featured on an ad campaign for erm...The Sun newspaper, but arguably deserves better than that. In possession of a swirly, sixties psychedelic grooviness provided by gospel keys and a dollop of soul a la Carnaby Street, you can sure imagine Austin Powers cutting a rug to this one, baby. Those of you who liked The Ceasars Jerk It Out and/or Smashmouth's Walkin On The Sun should strap those ear goggles on again - your heading to the floor.
