Graham Norton Busts A Move In Mini Fresh Prince Revival With Will Smith, Jazzy Jeff And Alfonso Ribeiro

Will Smith Graham Norton Jazzy Jeff Alfonso Ribeiro

The Graham Norton show brought on an unexpected Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion this week, as Will Smith performed with his son Jaden and even DJ Jazzy Jeff paid a surprise visit. The whole thing came about as Jaden got up to prove he had inherited his dad’s rapping prowess in a freestyle, as Smith Sr. beatboxed. Jaden got an enthusiastic ovation from the audience, before his dad took over for a verse. And that’s where it got intense, as Will rapped: "Last time I was here, I did my 'Fresh Prince' rap / Eight million YouTube hits was on that / I can see your face, you like, 'What has he left?' / Well, this time I brought my DJ Jazzy Jeff!"

Cue camera pan to Dj Jazzy Jeff and the start of the most intense Fresh Prince medley television has seen yet. But it was when Smith brought on the final surprise of the night – Alfonso Ribeiro, aka Carlton himself – that things really kicked off. You have not watched television, until you’ve seen Graham Norton bust a move alongside Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro, in our humble opinion. Luckily, you can just scroll down to the clip, courtesy of the BBC, and feast your eyes.

Looking Forward To A Very Swedish Eurovision

Graham Norton

Eurovision goes where its victor goes. That’s why, this year, Eurovision will take place in Malmo, at the Swedish home of last year’s winner Loreen. Joe Nilsson, owner of the leading gay club in the Swedish city, is putting on an almighty party to celebrate the homecoming of this European singing event.

“I booked this location the day after Loreen won for a whole week, just in case," he explains to The Guardian, "I had a feeling they would chose Malmö. It's closer to Europe, closer to Copenhagen. "She's very special, and I had her even before she got famous," Nilsson says. "She had a big gay following even before she won Eurovision." He expects fans to come from Spain, Italy, France, Germany and beyond. "Someone wrote on the event web page, 'I'm coming all the way from America to see Loreen and the finals,' he says. "That's amazing." For British fans of the contest, the final will air between 8pm and 11.15pm and the semi-finals will be shown on BBC Three at 8pm on Tuesday and Thurday, hosted by Scott Mills and Scissor Sisters’ Ana Matronic.

The show will be hosted by Swedish comedian Petra Mede, while Grahame Norton will be hosting the live TV coverage of it. He took over from legendary presenter Terry Wogan, who’s nonsensical mumblings are sorely missed all over The U.K. He halted his association with the show after becoming disenfranchised with it, saying it was predicable and not a music contest any more.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The Most Sinister Man In Hollywood?

Benedict Cumberbatch Graham Norton

Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the hottest pieces of talent in Hollywood right now, with a host of hotly anticipated projects in the pipeline that will no doubt make him even hotter than he already is. On last nights episode of The Graham Norton Show the Brit-actor exemplified why he is so sought after by film executives by giving his own ominous take on the usually chipper trailer for the show.

Benedict, the devil in disguise?

The Star Trek: Into Darkness actor was commended on his lush voice by Norton, who then asked if he could present the trailer for the show to see if Benedict can make anything sound sinister. Proving he's a good sport, Benedict complied and gave his own take on Norton's routine, proving the point that he really can make ANYTHING sound sinister. Contact Music is not a website that generalises people, but well-spoken English men may in fact be the keepers to the gates of Hell.

Graham Norton Reveals Olly Murs' Crush On Mila Kunis (In Front Of Mila)

Olly Murs Mila Kunis Graham Norton

Graham Norton well and truly embarrasses Olly Murs on the latest episode of his chat show, set to air tonight (March 1, 2013), revealing the pop-star's crush on Mila Kunis - as you may have guessed by now, Hollywood actress Mila was sitting just inches away. Prankster Norton read out tweets that Murs had written about the 'Oz: The Great And Powerful' actress, leaving the singer red-faced.

Murs has long tweeted of his liking for Mila, though Norton read out a few select cringe-worthy posts on his show. Olly had once selected the actress as the woman he would "most like to have kids with," much to the audience's delight. Apologising, Murs said, "I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would actually meet her," though the cheeky-chappy added, "Olly and Mila has a great ring to it!" Mila - who is in the UK promoting Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel - took everything in good humour, graciously replying, "This is so flattering".

It's certainly an all-star line-up on tonight's show, with Kunis and Murs being joined by Skyfall actress Dame Judi Dench and Side Effects star Jude Law. As musical guest, Olly will be performing his track 'Army of Two.'

Dame Helen Mirren And Paul Rudd Share A Kiss On The Graham Norton Show

Helen Mirren Paul Rudd Leslie Mann Graham Norton

Dame Helen Mirren and Paul Rudd shared a passionate embrace last night left the audience, host and other guest laughing but stunned with their antics as they discussed on-screen kisses on the episode of The Graham Norton Show that aired last night (Feb 1).

Recalling his time spent kissing Jack Nicholson (it was part of a movie), the Oscar-winning actress asked Rudd to recreate the scene from 2010's How Do You Know (in which Nicholson stared as Rudd's father) using her as the kiss recipient. Needless to say Rudd gladly obliged, but how often does an opertunity like that come up? Both looked pretty pleased with themselves too after the kiss (naturally), with Mirren gladly wiping her lipstick from Rudd's mouth post-lip lock, leaving a flu-ridden co-guest Leslie Mann clearly taken aback (and probably a little envious too) whilst the audience and host howled with laughter.

The Graham Norton show is well known for it's out of the blue antics, as is Mirren when she appears on talk shows. During her last talk show appearance on Jonathan Ross' show, the actress admitted to taking LSD in her youth, although made sure to reiterate it was her first and last time of doing so.

Twenty Twelve Snubbed At The British Comedy Awards, But Jack Whitehall Wins The Crown

Jack Whitehall Vic Reeves Bob Mortimer Alan Carr Olivia Colman Jessica Hynes Rebecca Front Sarah Millican David Mitchell Graham Norton Jonathan Ross Lee Mack

The British Comedy Awards were held last night, presented once again by Jonathan Ross. It saw a room of the country's funniest people come under one roof to celebrate and ridicule one another, as is the British tradition.

Twenty Twelve and The Thick of It have been compared since the former hit screens in 2011. It satirises the shambolic organization of this year's the Olympic games, while The Thick of It satirises the inner workings of the British government. However, despite audiences loving Twenty Twelve and it receiving four nominations in the three categories that it's eligible for, it failed to take home anything. Both Olivia Colman and Jessica Hynes from the show were nominated for Best Actress, but they lost out to The Thick of It's Rebecca Front. It seems an odd snub given that everyone has been celebrating all things Olympic since it was revealed that London got the deal.

Another surprise was Jack Whitehall's voted win of King of Comedy for 2012. He was up against some serious comedy heavy weights that have done the circuit for years: Alan Carr, Lee Mack, David Mitchell, Graham Norton and last year's Queen of Comedy, Sarah Millican. Initial speculation had assumed David Mitchell would get the prize, for his many panel show appearances, Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look. However, Whitehall has really broken through this year, with popular shows Bad Education and Fresh Meat, which are a lot better than they sound.

Farce, Or Fair Enough? Olivia Colman To Battle Herself At British Comedy Awards

Olivia Colman Hugh Bonneville Rebecca Front Paddy Considine Steve Coogan Alan Carr David Mitchell Graham Norton Jack Whitehall Lee Mack Sarah Millican

Olivia Colman has been nominated twice in the same category for the upcoming British Comedy Awards. The 39-year-old, perhaps best known for playing Sophie on Peep Show, is up for Best Actress for two BBC shows, Rev and Twenty Twelve.

The decision has left some comedy fans bemused, though the general consensus is that Colman has put in two excellent performances and therefore has every right to be nominated twice. She played Hugh Bonneville's character's long-suffering assistant Sally Owen in the London Olympics comedy and plays Tom Hollander's wife Alex Smallbone on religious comedy Rev. Though having two chances to win the award, Colman still faces stiff competition to land the gong, with Twenty Twelve co-star Jessica Hynes also nominated. The Thick Of It's Rebecca Front, who plays the MP Nicola Murray, is also up for Best Actress. Colman - now considered one of the UK's top actresses - has already had a superb year, winning a slew of awards for playing an abused charity shop worker in Paddy Considine's gritty drama Tyrannosaur

Elsewhere at the comedy awards, The Thick Of It is one of five shows to receive three nominations, along with The Graham Norton Show, Rev, Cardinal Burns and Harry Hill's TV Burp. Steve Coogan picked up a couple of nominations for Alan Partridge: Welcome To Places In My Life. This year's King or Queen of Comedy will be contested by Alan Carr, David Mitchell, Graham Norton, Jack Whitehall, Lee Mack and Sarah Millican. The award winners will be announced live on Channel 4 on Wednesday 12 December.

Robbie Williams Under Fire After Punching Pensioner In Video

Robbie Williams Graham Norton

Robbie Williams is in the dog house for punching a pensioner in the face. Well, sort of. In his video for new UK chart-topping video ‘Candy’, the 38 year-old singer is seen giving an old woman a punch.

Williams made light of the video in an interview with Graham Norton, according to The Sun. Norton asked Williams ''That's quite a shocking image isn't it?'' to which Robbie replied: ''It is, isn't it. They wanted me to kick a dog and I'm an animal lover, so I was just not having that.” Then he added "Then they said: 'Punch a pensioner' and I was like: 'Yeah, I'm in.'" He’ll never grow up.

National Pensioners Convention general secretary Dot Gibson commented on Williams’ words: ''Celebrities should think twice before making ageist comments which seem to imply that pensioners should be treated in a degrading way. 'Elder abuse is a serious issue and needs to be tackled rather than seen as a bit of a joke. We need to be uniting the generations, not suggesting that they are different. Pensioners are just young people who grew older.''

Gwyneth Paltrow And Cameron Diaz Perform An Improv. Rap For Chelsea Handler

Gwyneth Paltrow Cameron Diaz Chelsea Handler Graham Norton

I'm not sure what's harder to believe, that Gwyneth Paltrow has just turned 40, or that she's duetted on a rap with Cameron Diaz, making fun of their close friend, comedian Chelsea Handler.

Diaz and Paltrow appear on camera, saying that they have heard that Handler is getting a new studio, and then launch into a rap, performed by Paltrow with the beatboxed beat provided by Diaz. They cover a variety of themes during the rap from Handler's promiscuity to her drinking habits and various taste in men with the final line exposing that “50 cent told us you like it rough” amid pelvic thrusts towards the camera.

It's unsure whether the pair intended this ever to reach light of day, or merely wanted to send it to their friend. However, Handler clearly considered the good humored jibes to be a less embarrassing for her than the thrusting would be for Paltrow and Diaz and consequently popped the video online.

Another Gay Movie Review

Bad
If one must find something nice to say about Todd Stephens' Another Gay Movie, then it could be that at the very least this is a film that shows gay teens not suffering through identity crises or worrying about coming out but constantly angling for and talking about sex with the same concentration and lack of shame that hetero teens are always depicted. It's a step in the right direction and a sign that, very slowly, films are finally losing the stigma against showing gay characters who are this at peace with who they are. Of course, the film itself is a shockingly incompetent piece of crap, but at least it got one thing right.

After the banal disaster that was his Gypsy 83 - a road movie whose low point where Stevie Nicks-obsessive Sara Rue falls in love with an Amish guy at a rest stop - it's truly mystifying as to how Stephens was able to pull another movie together. And yet, here it is. Since audiences have already suffered through not just one but two grim sequels to American Pie (not to mention the straight-to-video Band Camp), Stephens must have thought there was room for one more; albeit unofficial, and gay.
