There's certainly no shortage of movies in the pipeline based on fan-favourite characters from the DC Comics universe. This year alone we have 'Wonder Woman' and 'Justice League' hitting the big screen, with plans for 'The Flash', 'Aquaman', 'Cyborg', 'The Batman' and countless others. One that hasn't got too much attention, likely because it's still in its very early stages, is 'Suicide Squad 2'.

Madonna wants to make music forever.

The 58-year-old pop icon ''can't imagine'' a time in her life when she doesn't want to make songs anymore but has admitted her ex-husband Guy Ritchie couldn't understand why she was so obsessed with her talent and art.

She explained: ''It's inexplicable; it's like breathing, and I can't imagine not doing it. That is one of the arguments I would get into with my ex-husband, who used to say to me, 'But why do you have to do this again? Why do you have to make another record? Why do you have to go on tour? Why do you have to make a movie?' And I'm like, 'Why do I have to explain myself?'

Madonna has said she’s standing by son Rocco, after it was reported yesterday he had been arrested for possession of cannabis.

The Sun broke the story that the 16-year-old was picked up by police on September 28, after officers found him with a small amount of the drug, following complaints from his neighbours in Notting Hill.

In a statement to ABC News, Madonna described the incident as "a family matter.”

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco was reportedly arrested after police found a small amount of cannabis on the 16-year-old.

The arrest was said to have happened in late September, after residents in the teen’s posh Primrose Hill neighbourhood reported him to the police.

According to The Sun, police saw Rocco ‘tossing something away’ as they approached him and noticed traces of cannabis on his clothes.

British director Guy Ritchie is said to be nearing a deal to take charge of a forthcoming live-action adaptation of Disney’s classic movie Aladdin, according to new reports.

The Hollywood Reporter cited Dan Lin, who helped 48 year old filmmaker Ritchie on his two Sherlock Holmes movies which starred Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, as promising an “ambitious and non-traditional” spin on the 1992 animation, while retaining a large number of the musical elements of the beloved original.

Madonna has hit back in defiant fashion on social media, following the conclusion of her custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their teenage son Rocco.

The 58 year old pop icon took to her Instagram on Wednesday (September 7th), hours after the news broke that Rocco would continue to live in London with his film director father, and said that a mother sometimes “need to be a b****”, seemingly hitting out at the terms of the agreement.

After nine months of warring in and out of court, Madonna and Guy Ritchie have finally settled their custody dispute over their teenage son, Rocco.

A court spokesperson in New York said on Wednesday (September 7th) said that the duo had reached a settlement out of court, which was concluded just “hours before” they were both due to attend a court hearing regarding Rocco’s custody, TMZ reported.

The disagreement began back in December 2015 when Rocco, now 16 years old, quit his mother’s world tour after an argument about homework and mobile phones, and went to London to live with his filmmaker father. He then refused to return to Manhattan for Christmas with Madonna, leading to litigation being opened up before Christmas.

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is to feature in a TV re-make of Guy Ritchie’s hit British gangster film Snatch.

Scottish actor Dougray Scott and ‘Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick are also set to play prominent roles in the forthcoming series, which is set to be available on Sony’s streaming network Crackle from early 2017.

27 year old Grint, who played Ron Weasley in all eight Harry Potter movies based on JK Rowling’s books, will play a “frustratingly chaotic” character named Charlie Cavendish, according to a press release. He's also set to take on an executive producer's role.

Kit Harington has been confirmed as paying the villain in the new Call of Duty game, Infinite Warfare. Rumours that the ‘Game of Thrones’ star had a role in the game started on Thursday (June 9) when a video circulated of him in what looked like a motion capture sphere. Now the news has been officially confirmed and Kit has been revealed as the franchise’s newest villain.

Kit Harington will play the villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

After the best part of six months, it seems as if Madonna’s custody dispute with Guy Ritchie may be nearing an end, as her teenage son Rocco returned to Manhattan this week.

The teenager, who turns 16 in August, was spotted getting coffee with some friends in New York on Tuesday morning (May 31st) before heading to his mother’s apartment. It’s believed to be his first time back in the United States since he quit the Rebel Heart tour in December last year, whereupon he headed to his father’s house in London and had remained there ever since.

Madonna arrived in London today to be temporarily reunited with her son Rocco, as she prepares to hold resolution talks with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their custody.

The 57 year old star wrapped up her massive 82-date Rebel Heart world tour at the end of March, and has jetted into Heathrow on Thursday morning (April 7th) for showdown talks with Ritchie, whom she divorced in 2008.

They are embroiled in a high-profile custody battle over their 15 year old son stretching back to December last year. Rocco quit his mother’s tour entourage just before Christmas, apparently over an argument about access to his mobile phone, and went to London to live with his film director father and his new step-mother, Jacqui Ainsley, where he has been ever since.

Madonna has gone to court to force her teenage son Rocco to return the United States for the holiday season, after he apparently refused to leave Britain where he’s staying with his father Guy Ritchie.

When the 15 year old ignored his mother’s request to board a plane to New York to spend Christmas with her in Manhattan, the pop star resorted to legal methods on Wednesday (December 23rd) to get her son to return to her.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan duly granted the order for Rocco to travel to New York, but Ritchie’s attorney in response made it clear that the boy had no intention of doing so voluntarily.

Warner Bros are in talks with British director Guy Ritchie to helm a retelling of the Arthurian legend across six movies. The series has been created by Joby Harold who has written the script for the first movie. He's probably best known for adapting Frank Miller's Ronin for the studio as well as writing Tom Cruise's forthcoming movie Edge of Tomorrow.

MGM say it will announce the director of the new James Bond movie in the near future, but confirmed the film is some three years away, at least. We already know that it will not be Sam Mendes behind the camera, after he passed at the opportunity to concentrate on his theatre work. The British filmmaker was responsible for the last movie, Skyfall, the most successful film in the history of UK film.

"We are very excited about the franchise, we look forward to announcing a director soon," said MGM chairman and chief executive officer Gary Barber in a conference call with investors. "We are currently developing the screenplay and working with our partners. We look forward to developing the script soon and signing a director. We are hoping within the next three years it will be released." It was a massive year for MGM, which took $1.1 billion at the box office mainly thanks to Skyfall and Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. A huge turnaround when considering the studio was languishing in insolvency just a couple of years ago, resulting in the four year gap between 2008's Quantum of Solace and Skyfall. Mr Barber will have all but banked on Mendes returning to the director's seat for Bond 24 - given the success of the last movie - though it's back to the drawing board. "[Mendes] did an amazing job on Skyfall," he said "We are very thankful for the work that he did."

Tom Cruise is in early talks to play in the lead in Guy Ritchie's forthcoming movie 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E' based on the original TV series starring Robert Vaughan and David McCallum as two agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement. Warner Bros has wanted to make the project for years, originally with George Clooney in the lead and Steven Soderbergh behind the camera.

According to Deadline.com, Clooney dropped out because of surgery on his beck and back, while Soderbergh left soon after. The studio soon turned to Ritchie - who helmed the Sherlock Holmes movies - and his producing partner Lionel Wigram. It would be the latest high profile role for Cruise, who will star in another Mission: Impossible movie developed by Christopher McQuarrie as well as another Jack Reacher movie. The first film based on Lee Child's crime novels grossed more than $215 million worldwide. 

Warner Bros began quiet talks with Cruise for The Man From U.N.C.L.E after he completed All You Need Is Kill with director Doug Liman. Though the film is yet to be released, the studio's eagerness to sign up Cruise again suggest it's pretty impressive. He next stars in the futuristic sci-fi movie Oblivion, which hits theaters on April 19, 2013.

David Beckham has numerous promotional campaigns with various companies but none of them raise the heartrates of women across the nation more than his underwear line with H&M. Becks has uploaded some photos from his latest shoot onto Facebook. Some people are questioning: Is this Beckham's sexiest ad ever? 

"I'm excited about the new H&M campaign directed by Guy Ritchie... the campaign will launch in early Feb'." He said, via Facebook. In many respects Guy Ritchie seems a truly odd choice to direct a 'sexy' ad campaign. While Snatch is a hugely enjoyable film, it's about as far from 'sexy' as any film can get - Jason Statham's stilted dialogue entirely detracts from his looks. However, as the Mirror reminds us, Ritchie 'was the man who brought us Sienna Miller in suspenders". There's hope yet.

Beckham has modelled underwear before, along with his wife, for Armani in a memorable black and white campaign. This ad will see him wearing khaki pants and a black vest running through the gardens of Beverly Hills, showing off his tattoos and athletic physique. As the Sun reports, Guy said "For me this felt more than a campaign - it was like directing a short film."  Adding that Becks was "the perfect leading man."

Congratulations to Guy Ritchie and his model fiancée Jacqui Ashley after they celebrated the arrival of their second child! The couple already have a child, their son Rafael was born in September of last year, but he will now have a sister to play with after it was revealed that a little girl arrived at a private hospital in London.

A source for the pair told the Daily Mail “We can confirm that Guy and Jacqui are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well.” Another told The Sun “They are both utterly delighted at the birth. The fact they now have a girl is an added bonus — Guy always wanted a boy and a girl.”

Although these are the first children for Ashley, Ritchie is becoming a father for the fourth time, having had 11 year-old Rocco and six year-old adopted son David from his previous marriage to Madonna. The news caps a whirlwind few weeks for the couple; it was just last month at director Ritchie decided that he wanted to be a husband again and asked Ashley for her hand in marriage.

The 44-year-old British director, who was famously once married to Madonna, is engaged to his 30-year-old long-term partner, who is expecting their second child. Ainsley revealed her growing bump, and the baby news, at the July premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, and recently, she flashed her diamond ring during a dinner date on Sunday at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles. The American mag confirmed the news, which was patently obvious to some already. Richie has directed some British classics, such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Swept Away, Revolver, RocknRolla and Sherlock Holmes. He has been dating Jacqui, who hails from Southend in Essex, since April 2010, and with a second baby on the way, the couple have decided to start planning their nuptials.

On 15 December 2008, it was announced by Madonna's spokeswoman that the singer had agreed to a divorce settlement with Ritchie, the terms of which granted him between £50million and £60million. Their high profile split came after 8 years of marriage, in which time they had two children: Rocco, and an adopted son, David. The pair reached an amicable arrangement for the custody of the pair. "I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret. The experience was ultimately very positive," Ritchie said.

British popstar Robbie Williams has cancelled writing sessions with his long-time lyrical partner Guy Ritchie after it emerged that Guy has been working with Robbie's former band mates.

Chambers, who was behind some of Robbie's biggest hits including ANGELS, had recently reunited with the singer after going their separate ways several years ago.

However, the Sun reports that the pair's scheduled Los Angeles song-writing sessions have been cancelled after they "didn't work out".

A source claims Guy's upcoming collaboration with Take That members GARY BARLOW and Mark Owen was the real problem, added the newspaper.

"He never mentioned it to Robbie. Rob heard Gary was in LA working and found out it was with Guy. He wasn't best pleased when he heard," continued the source.

Chambers, Owen and Barlow are thought to be part of a 12-strong writing team for a new ITV show BRITANNIA HIGH which follows the lives of youngsters at a fictional performing arts school.

Barlow will pen songs for the students to sing throughout the series.
