Gwen Stefani hit the red carpet on Thursday night and showed off something special.

The 44 year-old singer attended the opening night Gala of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles with her husband, but they were accompanied by one more person.

Stefani has been at the centre of pregnancy speculation for quite some time now and her visible baby bump confirms the reports.

The 'No Doubt' vocalist didn't comment on her pregnancy but the eye-catching, gleaming Ferragamo gown was not able to hide the blossoming bump.

In September Us Weekly reported that her and husband, Gavin Rossdale, were expecting their third child together. At the time a source told the magazine "It's very new and they just found out, they're excited!"

The married couple exchanged vows back in 2002 and are already parents to sons, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, aged 7, and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, aged 5.

In September 2012 Stefani spoke about being a mother and her desire to have more children to the magazine Marie Claire, "I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn't really work out," she said. "So.I feel good with what we've got. Everything works out how it should. You can't plan anything, right? You can try."

Gwen and Rossdale, who wore a black tuxedo, looked very happy together on the red carpet, with a source telling Us Weekly, "She had a huge glowing smile on her face and was totally having fun," a source said of the third-time mom-to-be. "Gavin held her hand very attentively and admirably."

Congrats to the couple on their future bundle of joy.
