Gwen Stefani has just dropped the awesome video for ‘Spark the Fire,’ the second single from her much anticipated new album. Featuring bright colours, animation and floating Pharrell heads, ‘Spark the Fire’ is trippy, even by Stefani’s zany standards.

In the video, Stefani sings on floating clouds in a colourful, animated world, showing off her heavy Japanese influence. Emoticons and speech bubbles pop up throughout and producer Pharrell even makes a ‘floating’ appearance.

Stefani and her L.A.M.B. clade dancers are also seen in an underground setting as the No Doubt frontwoman asks “who's got the lighter?”

Pharrell, who produced the track. had previously commented that the song was about feminism, which is perhaps most apparent when Stefani sings “Let's go hard, let's go hard, hard as can go, It is time for the girl's species to grow 2015, we take off our shell I am a Libra, let's balance the scales.”

Unleashing the video on Monday night (December 1st) Stefani told her 1.57m twitter followers ‘'#SparkTheFire Music Video is here! SO RAD!’ That same night The Voice judge took to the stage on the talent show, performing the track alongside Williams.

Spark The Fire is the second single from Gwen's upcoming third studio album which is expected later this month. In October she released the record’s debut single 'Baby Don't Lie'.

Gwen’s upcoming album will be her first solo release since 2006’s The Sweet Escape. In 2012 she reteamed with her band, No Doubt for the group's sixth stuido album Push Shove.
