Rumours suggesting the New York Yankees legend, who retired from the sport last year (14), popped the question to the 25-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit beauty after dating on and off for the past three years surfaced last month (Oct15), and Jeter took to his blog on Tuesday (03Nov15) and slyly confirmed the story.

Showing off his pet dog Kane, he wrote, "After I retired, I didn’t expect I’d go from one job right to another. Meet Kane. Kane is an Italian Mastiff... I had no idea what I was in for as a new dog owner. He was a Christmas gift last year from my fiancee, whose family had Mastiffs growing up. I've never owned a pet in my life."
