Star Wars film producers are worried that Harrison Ford could miss up to eight weeks of filming. The actor, who is reprising his role as Han Solo in Star Wars Episode VII, was injured on set last week when it was reported that a door from the Millennium Falcon spacecraft fell on top of him during filming.

It's been confirmed that the 71-year-old actor has a broken ankle and is expected to be released from hospital any time now. A source involved with the making of the movie explained: “The initial day or two after the accident it was hard to move things around but now we have had more time we can juggle things, bring some scenes forward and push others back. There are lots of other actors in the movie so it is not a disaster. We are still confident the film can stay on schedule. At the moment it looks like Harrison is going to be off set for 6-8 weeks but the main priority is making sure he is OK.”
