Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is happy to be a heartthrob for young girls.

The 17-year-old actor milked every last bit of attention last night at the London premiere of THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, explaining that he was on the lookout for a nice girl.

He told the Daily Mail: "I don't have a girlfriend but I hope to at some point.

"There is one particularly beautiful redhead I saw in the crowd who I'm looking forward to signing an autograph for later."

However, he dismissed suggestions that he was only interested in redheads, adding: "I just like all girls really."

The youngster and his co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have come a long way from the first Harry Potter film, which saw the three then 11-year-olds become global stars.

Emma and Daniel in particular now have armies of besotted young fans, with Daniel's performance as a disturbed stable boy in stage play Equus increasing his fanbase, as he stripped off every night.
