Harry Styles (born 01.02.1994) Harry Styles is an English singer from the boyband One Direction.
Childhood: Harry Styles was born in Evesham, Worcestershire, England and grew up in the village of Holmes Chapel in Cheshire. His parents are Anne Cox and Des Styles but they divorced when he was 7. He attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and had a job at the W. Mandeville Bakery in the village when he was 16 before auditioning for the UK TV singing competition 'The X Factor'.
Musical career: Harry Styles was first in a band called White Eskimo with lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny and with whom he won a Battle of the Bands competition. Among his influences are Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Foster the People, Coldplay and Kings of Leon. He auditioned for 'The X Factor' in 2010 as a solo artist but, after failing to make it to the Judges Houses round, he was put together with other solo candidates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson to make a new band for the Groups category at the suggestion of one of the judges Nicole Scherzinger. Harry was the band member who put forward the name 'One Direction' which was agreeable to the other members. One Direction came third place in the competition but were subsequently signed to mentor Simon Cowell's Syco Records anyway. Since forming, One Direction has won two BRIT awards, three Teen Choice awards and broke a Guinness World Record as the first British group in US chart history to open at number one in the US with a debut album after the release of 'Up All Night'.
Personal Life: Harry Styles has had various high profile relationships and is known for dating women older than him. In 2011, he dated 'The Xtra Factor' host Caroline Flack who is 15 years his senior. Flack received many death threats from die hard One Direction fans as a result. In 2012, he began dating country pop singer Taylor Swift even spending New Year's Eve together. However, they split in January 2013. Harry has more than thirty tattoos on his body.
The 2021 BRIT's was a spectacular event that delivered some great performances and saw some very worthy winners.
With a great deal of excitement, a lot of relief and some anxiousness, the biggest night on the UK's musical calendar went ahead as the BRIT's 2021 celebrated the stars and artists that have made the biggest impact in music over the last year. As part of the Government's pilot scheme to get events back up and running safely the O2 once again hosted the BRIT's, not in front of the usual 20,000 fans and invited guests, but in front of an audience made up of 2,500 care workers and 1,500 music industry related others, with each of them having had to provide a negative CoVID test.

Jack Whitehall was back again, hosting the first major event at the O2 since March 2020. After a brief Line Of Fire themed intro, Foreplay, aka Coldplay, were first up performing their brand new track, Higher Power, on a floating barge in the Thames opposite the arena. With holograms and pyrotechnics galore Chris and his band lit up the night sky to get the show off to a suitably stellar start.

The 63rd Grammy Awards saw history made; not once, not twice but three times with wins for Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift setting new records.
On a night when barely anything was normal at the 63rd Grammy Awards, history was made as Beyoncé not only won four awards but also became the most decorated female artist of all time with a collective 28 awards. Beyoncé was reported to be a no show prior to the awards, much to the dismay of the organisers who had ideally wanted her to perform. However, as the evening got underway and the TV cameras panned across the room, it was something of a surprise to see both Beyoncé and Jay-Z seated at one of the socially distanced tables. Beyoncé was the big news, and the big winner on the night; her fourth award meant that she surpassed the total number of awards by a female artist, an honour previously held by Country singer Alison Krauss with 27. One of the biggest losers on the night, no doubt to the horror of Sir Elton John, was Phoebe Bridgers. Phoebe was up for four awards including Best New Artist and Best Rock Song, sadly she didn't win in any category. Elton, talking to Phoebe Bridgers on his Apple Music 1 'Rocket Hour' show ahead of the Grammy's, had said "If you don’t win at least one, I’m going to hit someone, OK?" We are yet to see whether he has! For now let's see who won what.
We want to speak to the Grammys manager...
The nominations for the 63rd annual Grammy Awards are finally here, but it's left a lot of people scratching their heads in bewilderment. Not only are there a number of names on there that have somehow avoided hitting the radar all year, but there are also a few prominent artists missing from certain categories.

Perhaps the most notable is the absence of The Weeknd from all categories; a remarkable notion when you consider the fact that After Hours is his most iconic release yet, with the song Blinding Lights being one of the most well-played tracks of the year. The Weeknd hasn't taken this snub lying down either, Tweeting earlier today: "The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency..."

UK Music's Measuring Music said that British artists played a huge part in the health of the worldwide music industry in 2017.
A newly published report from UK Music’s Measuring Music organisation reveals that export revenues grew by 7% to an all-time high of £2.6 billion.
A pretty healthy picture was painted across the board. The biggest selling album around the world in 2017 was Ed Sheeran’s third studio LP Divide, powered by enormous hit singles in ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Perfect’.
The singer reigns supreme at the top despite taking a break from the limelight since her tour ended last year
Superstar singer Adele has topped the richest British celebrity aged 30 or under for the third year in a row - despite barely working since she finished her world tour last summer. The Hello hitmaker knocked the One Direction boys off the top spot in 2016 and has been riding high ever since.
Adele is the highest earning 30 or under - for the third year running
However, having now reached the age of 30, this will be her last year reigning supreme.

The now four-piece band is one of the biggest exports of the X Factor
Picture the scene: it’s 2010 and the X Factor has already been whittling down the weekends to Christmas for five whole years. Winners have come and then most definitely gone. Simon Cowell’s dress sense is no better. But then a Syco Production created boyband stumbled into second place - and One Direction Mania was born.
One Direction were formed eight years ago
Fast forward and what remains of the boys have celebrated their eight year anniversary and got #8YearsOfOneDirection trending.

The new show, titled 'Happy Together', is to air in the autumn of 2018 on CBS.
Called ‘Happy Together’, the new show will be broadcast on CBS and will be based on a real-life period in Styles’ life, when he lived with a friend, Ben Winston, and his wife in a house in the suburbs of London, when One Direction was in its embryonic stages.
Styles originally said he'd be moving in for just a couple of weeks, with a house he wanted to move into nearby needing some work before he started living there, according to a Rolling Stone interview with Winston last year. However, the pop star ended up sleeping on a mattress in the attic for 20 months.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson , Niall Horan - **Strictly embargoed until 00.01 BST Tuesday 1st September** One Direction today (Tuesday 1st September) premiered the action/1D film, 'Dear World Leaders', a three minute, one-of-a-kind emotive and powerful film composed of hundreds of fan submissions describing the world they want to live in. The film, in support of the action/1D campaign, directly calls on world leaders to listen to the changes they want to see made, to make the world a better place for this generation and the next. Harry Styles said: "We've been overwhelmed by the fans' response to action/1D. They continue to amaze us with their passion and dedication, and this film goes to show how engaged they are in the issues that affect them. It's been inspiring to see and hear what matters to them and the world they want to live in." Niall Horan said: "We've had fans from all over the world tell us what matters to them, from equal rights for all to the eradication of poverty, I really hope world leaders take notice of what we and our fans are saying. Hillary Clinton tweeted us her support of action/1D last month - I'm hoping President Obama watches it next!" One Direction is now calling on the public to share the 'Dear World Leaders' film on social media, alongside the hashtag #action1D. The film will also be broadcast in front of thousands of fans at each of the remaining legs of the band's On The Road Again Tour. One Direction launched the action/1D campaign on 8th July. Since then, nearly 80,000 submissions of photos and videos calling out for change were received from 172 countries. The hashtag #action1D has seen a reach of 2.5 billion so far, and trended worldwide on Twitter for 11 hours following the launch of the project in July. The action/1D campaign is part of action/2015, a global citizens' movement which is united by the idea that 2015 can be the year when the world can set the agenda to end extreme poverty, tackle inequality and climate change - but on - London, United Kingdom - Monday 31st August 2015
