Speaking backstage at Capital's Summertime Ball with Vodafone at London's Wembley Stadium yesterday (June 6), Liam addressed rumours of the phenomenally successful boy band's imminent split, saying, "We don't know where that came from because we've got loads of stuff going on."

When all you can think about is one band, you're probably going to see lookalikes everywhere. Unfortunately, that was the case for one excited One Direction fan who posted a photo on Twitter apparently showing the back of Harry Styles head on a bus.

The superfan posted a picture of a young man riding the bus in LA - who had his long hair pulled back, earphones in, apparently lost in his music and with what looks like a remarkably Styles-esque nose - accompanied by the caption 'Harry on a bus in LA!' As it turns out, the man was actually, well, we don't know. 'It actually wasn't me', Styles confessed in a red carpet interview ahead of the band's performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

One Direction will be appearing at next weekend’s Billboard Music Awards, in their first public outing since Zayn Malik quit the band back in March. Billboard have confirmed that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan will all be in attendance at the ceremony, where they will be presenting a trophy.

The group will surely be hoping to put recent dramas behind them with the appearance as they step out for the first time as a fourpiece. Last month former member Zayn Malik made his first public appearance since leaving the band, at the Asian Awards in London.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao might have been billed as the fight of the century last weekend, but don’t underestimate the drama which can occur when a former boyband member, his producer and his ex-bandmate get into a twitter spat. Yes just over a month after One Direction went from five to four, it appears the gloves are well and truly off between former member Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.

Zayn announced his departure from the boyband back in March.

It all started on Wednesday afternoon, when producer Naughty Boy, who’s been working with Zayn on solo material, tweeted an pic of the pair using an image filter along with the caption, ‘Replace this’.

A poll by British magazine Heat has named Fifty Shades Of Grey star Jamie Dornan as 2015’s hottest hunk, beating Zac Efron and Harry Styles. Last year the Irish actor was a new entry at number eight in the annual poll, which is said to be voted on by more than 195,000 people.

Zayn Malik has made his first public appearance since leaving One Direction, at the fifth Annual Asian Awards. The 22 year old debut a new shaved hairstyle at the event, where he was accompanied by his mother Trisha Malik.

Zayn was accompanied to the event by his mother, Trisha.

The 22-year-old was presented with the award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the ceremony, which was held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Accepting the award Zayn referenced his time in the million selling pop group and thanked his former bandmates.

Taylor Swift has been romantically linked to Calvin Harris after the two were spotted together on Wednesday (25th March). They were snapped food shopping together in Nashville and the pictures, taken by an amateur photographer at the scene, have gone viral. The two, both dressed in black and grey, are not showing any public signs of affection but they have reportedly been spotted together over the past month.

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is single again, after splitting from his girlfriend of nearly four years Eleanor Calder. The couple’s split was confirmed after tabloids published pictures claiming to be of the 23 year old and a ‘mystery brunette’ over the weekend.

The boys all together late last year.

"Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago," a rep for the band confirmed to E! News. "They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time.”

The future of the world’s biggest boyband One Direction could be in doubt, following a difficult week for the group which culminated in Zayn Malik leaving their 'On The Road Again' tour due to stress. The singer, who is engaged to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, had been accused of cheating on his fiancée last week, while the band were on tour in Asia.

American hitmaker Meghan Trainor has confirmed a match made in pop songwriting heaven by revealing that she’s written a song with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

The 21 year old dropped by BBC Radio 1 on Tuesday morning and told host Nick Grimshaw that the “cute acoustic love” song is called ‘Someday Maybe’. Grimshaw was asking Trainor about an earlier interview with ‘The Sun’ in which she indicated that the Styles writing hook-up had happened.

One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is tired of ‘The Voice’ continually slagging off ‘The X Factor’. Ahead of the BBC’s flagship talent contest making its reappearance this Saturday (January 10th), the boyband member suggested that there wasn’t even a contest between the two programmes.

The 23 year old star aired his grievances on Twitter, where he vented: “Is bad mouthing The X Factor the only way The Voice knows how to promo their show? #everyyear.” Later, he said: "it's like Accrington Stanley trying to compete with Real Madrid.”

They’ve consistently put out great pop albums year after year, so it’s not like they should break up, but being in a boy band with a bunch of other guys sharing your spotlight puts a damper on your own personal success, too. Nathan Sykes is bound to get big with anything he does now that The Wanted is done.

Being caught with a joint is really nothing new in the world of pop, especially amongst those aggressively seeking a change of image that will subsequently add a semblance of ‘edge’ to their persona. For child stars especially, in attempts to free themselves from their enforced clean-cut youth and iconic childhood roles, to indulge in the smoking of marijuana is the go-to method of both distancing oneself from the past and declaring oneself as a fully independent adult.

The group have come under fire from the tabloids for Zayn and Louis' actions.

The celebrity world abounds with examples of such exploits. Remember the media storm over Justin Bieber’s incident with a “suspicious cigarette” or Miley Cyrus’ bong exploits, which have now evolved into her free and consistent utilization of marijuana symbolism? The celebrity media loves a scandal more than a Republican loves his right to bear firearms, but whilst the current One Direction drug ‘scandal’ has rather predictably been plastered all over the tabloid’s front pages, the majority of the public greets it with a collective shrug of the shoulders. They are, after all, adolescents- the prime age for indulging in experimentation with illicit substances and activities. Most adults will have indulged in similar instances of experimentation with an array substances at a similar age to these patchy-bearded pop stars. In terms of the pop world, this particular act has been seen many times before; so many times, in fact, that the whole ‘rebellion’ phase is part and parcel of the child actor discourse. Some take it just a little too far, and the ensuing descent into drugs has unfortunately claimed the lives of many of Hollywood’s exploited youngsters.

Louis Tomlinson of One Direction has come under fire for not only sharing a marijuana joint with fellow band member Zayn Malik but also using a shortened version of the N-word in the same leaked video. The new clip has sent shockwaves through One Direction's young fanbase as it presents a very different image to that of the usually squeaky clean singers.

Filmed in the car on the way to a recent concert in Peru, the clip shows Zayn and Louis joking around with members of their crew and passing around a joint which is referred to as "Mary Jane," a euphemism for weed. Feathers have also been ruffled by Louis' flippant attitude towards police that they pass and is heard referring to the law enforcers as the "po po."

Tomlinson is heard seeming to say "It's green only, n**" and blowing spoke whilst sharing the joint with the other passengers. A motorcycle police officer drives past and Louis says: "He's having a look. He's thinking 'I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there'. And he's hit the nail on the head."

As of late this One Direction-er has being living up to his name. Most recently he’s appeared FROW at Burberry Porsurum’s London Fashion Week and last year was crowned the 'Most Stylish' person in Britain at the British Fashion Awards. Harry always manages to look dapper and although we’re still not sure about the headband, he’s definitely become a bit of a British style ambassador in recent years.

Taylor Swift played at the O2 in London last night. She did a duet with Ellie Goulding. There were roughly 20 000 people in attendance, despite the continuing tube strike in the city (that’s the subway for you Americans). All of this pales in comparison to the news that A. Taylor got a haircut and B. Harry Styles may have been/was spotted, sort of, in a blurry instagram video/is rumored to have been backstage during Swift’s impromptu haircut party. What is a "haircut party" you ask? Apparently, it means loads of people standing in a tiny room, cheering Taylor, as she has her hair cut. Are you excited yet?

This marks the end of Taylor's UK run in support of RED.

"This is how many people are watching me get a haircut right now," Swift says as she pans her camera phone across the crowd huddled together in a small room backstage.

One Direction's Harry Styles is attracted to Hollywood limelight as he has been spending a lot of his downtime in Los Angeles.

This is mainly due to the 19 year-old wanting to hang with his alleged new girlfriend, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star, Kendall Jenner.

But Styles' famous friends aren't just in reality TV, the former X-Factor contestant hit the red carpet at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, to show his support for actor, Zach Braff.

Michael Wahlberg appeared on Conan on Thursday night (9th January) and discussed his secret hated of One Direction! The 42-year-old actor told host Conan O'Brien how he wanted to punch Harry Styles as his young children were obsessed with him.

He explained how his two daughters, Ella (aged 10) and Grace (aged 4), absolutely adore the lead singer of the British pop group. The Ted actor imitated his daughter, saying "My 4-year-old's going 'Daddy, I like Harry.' And I'm like, 'Well I'm gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him.'"

Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner have been fuelling rumours that they are more than friends as of late.

The One Direction singer jetted back from France, where the boys won two prizes at NRJ Music Awards, in the early hours on Sunday morning (Dec 15th) to meet with the reality TV star.

Styles arrived at the 18 year-olds London hotel around 2.20am after attending the award ceremony at the Cannes Festival Palace, reports the Daily Mail.

Paul Rudd kicked off his third go at hosting NBC's Saturday Night Live by ensuring that every 15 year-old pop music fangirl in the country was watching as he recited an opening monologue whilst being flanked by boyband One Direction. Rudd lamented that he had been overshadowed by previous musical guests Beyoncé and Paul McCartney only to be upstaged once again by the British fivesome.

The young stars previously went on a dinner date in Hollywood, Cali., last month and on Saturday (Dec 7th) they were spotted leaving the Gansevoort hotel in New York City.

Henry Cavill has topped the latest poll by Glamour magazine to determine the '100 Sexiest Men Alive.' The Man of Steel actor took the top spot from four-time winner of the accolade Robert Pattinson, who after four consecutive years of being declared the world's biggest hunk, fell down to number two this year.

The Twilight-star has long been a favourite for the magazine when compiling their yearly list of sexiest men, but this year the spandex-wearing DC superhero Cavill proved too dashing to ignore, as he leaped to the top spot. Cavill was chosen as the sexiest man alive by the magazine on the back of his successful turn as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steel, with his chiselled abs and facial features probably going some way towards securing his spot at the top of the poll too.

Dating Rumors have been dong the rounds ever since Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles were spotted leaving Craig's Restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday night (20th November).

Unfortunately he was seen and photographs show the pair driving off in a black Range Rover. Styles and Jenner averted their eyes, with Styles concentrating on driving and Jenner on her phone.

One Direction singer Harry Styles has reportedly stopped visiting his Los Angeles tattoo artist, Freddy Negrete - much to the artist's surprise and devastation. The 19-year-old singer has attended the Shamrock Parlour (a favourite tattoo parlour of David Beckham) several times to be inked, yet it has emerged that he visited a different studio for the rose which was drawn onto his arm earlier in September, 2013.

Negrete spoke to 'The Daily Star' about his feelings of abandonment and betrayal, saying: ''Harry said he would be back. I did his first tattoo and a lot of them since, until the big one when he was here with [ex-girlfriend] Taylor Swift last year. I don't know why he's gone somewhere else now. I didn't do the rose. He didn't even get it here at the parlour. I don't know who did it.'' Negrete referred to Style's last visit in December 2012 with then-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in which he got a large picture of a ship on his left arm.

Harry Styles, the One Direction heartthrob, has said in an interview he expects his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift to write songs about him. His pop group were interviewed by Us Weekly and Styles said "it would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience." He, rather sensibly, accepts that in dating someone equally famous he is open to lyrical attacks. The 19-year-old also stated "I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it."

He claimed he considers dating everyone in the same was as "you like people for who they are, so I couldn't say I want to date someone less famous because of the hassle. You like who you like." Styles discussed what sort of girl he'd like to find. So if you have any of the following qualities, you may well be in for a chance: "someone with a cute laugh and a good smile"; "someone you can have fun with"; who enjoys "trying new things and going out new places."

The documentary premiered in London on Tuesday (20th August) in Leicester Square, London. Screaming fans awaited One Direction and the other celebrity attendees.

Fans were so determined to see their music heroes that some camped out in Leicester Square the night before.

Authorities are predicting that 80,000 dedicated One Direction fans will descend on London's Leicester Square for tonight's premiere of their documentary film This Is Us, directed by Morgan Spurlock. 

Hundreds of fans had camped overnight in central London to ensure priority wristbands to the premiere, though by 6pm, police predict that Leicester Square could be swamped by 80,000, each with ideas of getting a glimpse of their idols.

It's an unbelievable number. It's a stadium gig full of people. It's a packed Wembley Stadium, crammed around the Odeon.

Harry Styles has denied that he’s in a relationship with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. The pair have become very pally of late, attending parties together and the like, but Styles has moved to reassure his legions of fans that he is still in fact single, clearing up the bisexual rumour along the way by adding that he only has his eyes set on the ladies.

Asked if there was any truth to a possible romance between himself and Grimshaw, Styles said: “Oh, really? I didn’t even know. We’re not dating, no. We’re just friends.” And when asked whether or not he’s bisexual, Harry said: “Bisexual? Me? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure I’m not.”

It doesn’t matter if he is or not, but we’re not sure he actually knows yet. Still, batting away rumours like this must get boring after a while, so he’s probably just having a little fun with it. “Some of them are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying,” he said of the constant stream of stories from the tabloids that seem to fixate on him.

GQ Magazine got straight to the heart of the issue during their recent chat with everyone's favourite member of One Direction, Harry Styles.

The 19-year-old has taken on a Mick Jagger-esque legend regarding his sexuality in recent months, and speculation he is in a relationship with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw refuses to go away. Until now.

Asked rather matter-of-factly about his alleged romance with Grimshaw, the 19-year-old pin-up asked the interviewer, "What rumours would they be?" Pressed to address speculation that he and Nick, 28, were lovers, Styles replied, "Oh, really? I didn't even know. We're not dating, no. We're just friends."

David "Kidd" Kraddick's death on Saturday 27th July was caused by an enlarged heart and blocked arteries, according a preliminary autopsy. As a result he had probably developed an irregular heartbeat.

Kraddick died suddenly in New Orleans whilst hosting a charity golf tournament. The event was in aid of his 'Kidd's Kids' foundation which provides support and rest bite for terminally ill children and their families.

Radio and TV host David 'Kidd' Kraddick has died aged 53 from a reported brain aneurysm whilst at a New Orleans charity golf event, as reported by the LA Times. In tragic, untimely news, the host who many will know as the energetic "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" host passed away In a statement issued by YEA Networks upon learning of Kraddick's death, it was said: "All of us with YEA Networks and the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning crew are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend and leader. Kidd devoted his life to making people smile every morning, and for 21 years his foundation has been dedicated to bringing joy to thousands of chronically and terminally ill children."

Although current speculation cites a brain aneurysm as the key cause of the father-of-one's death, his publicist Ladd Biro has stated that the cause of his death will be disclosed "at the appropriate time" whilst reassuring saddened fans: "He died doing what he loved. His final day was spent selflessly focused on those special children that meant the world to him."

It's hardly the most obvious collaboration in British music - One Direction's Harry Styles joining forces with 'Chasing Cars' songwriter Gary Lightbody to pen some siogs together. Snow Patrol frontman Lightbody has spoken of his experience of working with the boyband heartthrob with the famous bouffant: "We wrote with Harry. It was a lot of fun. He's a real dude actually. We've no idea if those songs will make it yet, though. It's a long process. It's great to work with other people - it's good to flex the muscle."
