Harry Styles thinks Ed Sheeran has a ''perfect'' voice.

The One Direction singer has told the 'Lego House' hitmaker he sounds amazing after the flame-haired star - who wrote 'Little Things', the group's forthcoming new single - tried to play down his own talents.

Ed said: ''Harry says, 'I know you never like the sound of your voice on tape and you never like to know how much you weigh and you still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you're perfect to me.' ''

The 'A Team' singer has warned One Direction fans to expect a slower song for their next single - a track he describes as an acoustic ballad similar to 'Moments', which he wrote for the boy band's debut album 'Up All Night' - and the singer/songwriter says the forthcoming tune contains some of his greatest work.

He told Capital FM: ''It's got one of my favourite lines that I've ever written in a song.''

While Ed has been reluctant to say too much about the song, he recently described it as ''very sweet''.

He explained: ''[It] is kind of a very sweet song. It was written about the best things about someone, kind of like the things you wouldn't expect. You'll have to hear it. I can't really say too much 'cause it's their album. I want them to be the first ones to announce it and stuff.''
