The Grammy nominations have been revealed: but Harry Styles hasn’t made the list. Predictably, fans of the former One Direction member are furious and have come out to say so. Styles was snubbed for the 2018 nominations just months after releasing his self-titled debut album.

Others who were nominated in multiple categories were songs including Despactio - with Justin Bieber, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee - who received nods in both the Record and Song of the Year categories.

One angry fan tweeted: "Harry literally has an entire f****** album full of incredible heartfelt songs but nah they nominate despacito TWICE b**** tf #GRAMMYs."

Another wrote: "Harry Styles by Harry Styles was created with raw emotion and hard work and this is what he gets?"

A third called for a boycott of the ceremony, posting: "If Harry Styles won't get a Grammy Nomination, I’ll boycott."

Styles’ first solo album - which was released to much-hype - topped the charts in the UK and across the pond after its release in May.

He has struck out on his own along with other former bandmates Niall Horan and Liam Payne who didn’t receive nominations either.

Fans of Styles weren’t the only ones to be disappointed with Ariana Grande lovers frustrated she had missed out and also that there were no nods for Miley Cyrus or Shawn Mendes.

Jay-Z is leading this year’s nominations with eight nods including Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed 4:44, as well as Song and Record of the Year.

The 21-time Grammy winner will face tough competition from Bruno Mars who is also up for the big three after receiving six nominations.

The 60th Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden, will take place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on January 28.
