Harry Styles makes a welcome return with his first new single in over two years as he shares - 'As It Was', the lead track from his forthcoming third album - 'Harry's House'. Harry's follow-up to 2019's hit laden album - 'Fine Line' will drop on May 20th and will contain 12 more new songs.
Speaking about the new album Harry said - "I’m really, really proud of it. And I think obviously all of us went through something during the pandemic and everything. I think for me personally it was the first time I’d really been forced to pause and I think obviously it gave me a chance to work out who I was away from music, as a friend, a son, a brother, all those things".
The 28 year former 1D member, and current squeeze of 38 year old 'House' actress Olivia Wilde, went onto say - "Being able to put a little more, I guess, just adjust the balance of my life a little bit, gave me a chance to make music from a different place than I think I’d been making it from in the past and I felt a lot freer and a lot less afraid of anything. I think that’s a really exciting place to make music from, so more than ever before I’d say the reward has been in the process for me, so I feel very much like I’ve kind of achieved everything I want to achieve with this album already so everything from this point on just feels very exciting."
Harry's latest release, his first since his top 10 single - 'Adore You', comes with a video directed by renowned Ukrainian film maker Tanu Muino. Harry explained that - "It was a two-day shoot and on the second day was kind of the start of everything in Ukraine and she was absolutely incredible and her DP (director of photography) Nikita (Kuzmenko) as well was amazing and they wanted to keep shooting".
In a recent press release film director Muino said - "Shooting him was bittersweet as it was one of the happiest days of my life, but on the second day of the shoot, my country Ukraine was invaded so you can imagine the insane emotions we had while shooting. Me and my team from Ukraine poured so much love into this video and you can see it on screen. It will be a music video I will never forget and now I can happily retire".
