Heather Locklear was released from hospital yesterday (13 Jan 2012) into the 'care of her family', according to Tmz. Heather Locklear had been told to leave the hospital after it was decided that she was well enough to go home.
The actress had been rushed to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Centre after apparently taking a dangerous combination of prescription drugs and alcohol. A hospital spokesperson told Tmz that she was released at 5pm yesterday and that the star was in 'good spirits upon her discharge - smiling and talkative.' Tnz further reports that the actress' family want her to enter a rehab facility once she leaves the hospital, even though she is refusing to.
The Dynasty star had called 911 on Thursday (12 Jan 2012) evening to report a medical emergency. She had taken Xanax, a drug used to treat anxiety and panic disorders. Paramedics ordered for the 50-year-old to be hospitalised. Her parents, Bill and Diane Locklear, released a statement through the hospital stating: 'She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine.' Reports have suggested that Locklear had been having a difficult time with her on-again off-again partner Jack Wagner and therefore it was no surprise that she had lost control.
Heather Locklear is expected to appear next in a TV movie titled 'The Assistants' alongside David Henrie and TJ MILLER.
