Heather Mills thinks she is ''very sexy''.

The 47-year-old activist, who was married to Sir Paul McCartney from 2002 until 2008, says she's very happy with her appearance and thinks the amputation of her left leg below the knee in 1993 has not affected her sex appeal.

Asking whether losing her leg has made her feel less attractive, she replied: ''Not for a minute. I think I am very sexy. I'm very confident as a woman and there isn't a part of my body I'm not happy with.

''I never saw that by losing a leg I was in any way losing my femininity.''

Heather also thinks age hasn't had any bearing on her attractiveness.

She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ''Even now, I'm 47 and if I see a hot man I know I can have him. I might not want him but I can have him. I'm not embarrassed about my leg - in fact a good chat-up line from me is, 'How do you fancy massaging my stump?'

''Sex appeal is about confidence. Confidence is about knowing who you are and being happy with that. Thank God I have my confidence.''
