The star injured her thumb and knee in training
TV’s most lethal celebrity reality show has claimed yet another famous contestant with Heather Mills the latest snow bunny to crash out of The Jump with a thumb and knee injury making her the seventh person to leave early overall.
Heather Mills is the latest celebrity to be injured by The Jump
Mills was one of the favourites to win the Channel 4 competition but suffered her injury in training and has now had to leave the show.
Ironically, mum-of-one Mills was called up to this series as a replacement after a torrent of injury caused celebrity after celebrity to pull out.
She had appeared in a previous series but was also forced to pull out of that - again due to injury.
This third series of The Jump has been plagued by injury with Olympic stars Beth Tweddle, Linford Christie and Rebecca Adlington, actress Tina Hobley and Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli all having to leave because of various competition pains.
Singer Sarah Harding also had to pull out this week after rupturing a ligament and former Westlife star was eliminated after a poor performance on the parallel slalom.
The final of the beleaguered series, which has been hosted by Davina Mccall throughout, is on Sunday with actor Sid Owen, American star Dean Cain, socialite Tamara Beckwith and rugby star Ben Cohen all vying for first place.
