Helen Flanagan is in the frame to be a Bond girl.

The 23-year-old actress recently met with casting directors in Los Angeles about a role in the next 007 adventure - with Daniel Craig returning as suave spy James Bond again.

And former 'Coronation Street' star Helen impressed with her audition and ''turned heads'' with her incredible figure and is now in serious contention to star in the iconic franchise.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''They felt she had a unique look, great figure and natural charm on screen.''

However, Helen is reportedly facing tough competition for the part from Sports Illustrated Swimwear model Kate Upton, who is also in the running for the sought after role.

The movie - currently known only as 'Bond 24' - is scheduled to start shooting in 2015 and sees Daniel reprising his role as 007 for a fourth time.

'Skyfall' director Sam Mendes is returning to helm the movie, while Naomie Harris will play Miss Moneypenny again.

Rumours have circulated that the film will be called 'Devil May Care' after Sebastian Faulks' 2008 novel which was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of James Bond creator Ian Fleming's birth.
