Hilary Duff ChildWill an Ed Sheeran-assisted single get Hilary a hit?

Hopefully, it works out in her favor, as her comeback efforts could have turned out much differently. Back in June, it was revealed that pop singer Charli XCX originally wrote her The Fault In Our Stars track, 'Boom Clap,' specifically for Duff until she denied it. "Hilary didn't want my song. What a life-ruiner," Charli said of the rejection. 'Boom Clap' has managed to peak on the Billboard Hot 100 at #16, so she's probably over the turn down by now. The question is - can Sheeran be enough to turn Duff back into a hit? 'Chasing the Sun' is expected to make its debut live as Hilary will perform it during a show in New York this Thursday, and you can bet the studio version will either drop that night or the following Tuesday on iTunes. Whenever it comes, everyone will just be hoping that it was well worth the wait.
