Hilary Duff enjoyed a romantic break with her husband ahead of the imminent arrival of their baby.

The singer-and-actress and ice Hockey star MIKE COMRIE are due to become parents any day now but they decided to go away together to Montacito, California, where they tied the knot in 2012.

Writing on her twitter page, Hilary said: ''spent an amazing weekend in montacito(where mc&i)got hitched!perfect&beautiful!who knows could be the last weekend it's just the 2 of us :0 (sic)''

As well as having a relaxing mini-break, Hilary was also treated to a foot message to relieve the pressure on her feet.

She tweeted: ''Just got an hour long foot rub! Ooo yaaa life is good!! (sic)''

Hilary - who is expecting a baby boy - recently said she was enjoying every moment of being pregnant and was finding the whole process simple.

The 24-year-old star said: ''Everything's been really easy. Didn't get sick.''

And gesturing to her increased chest size, she added: ''These are new. These are, like, new and different, so that can be a good and bad thing, but other than that, seriously, it's pretty easy!''
