Holly Valance has been named as an early favourite to win this years Strictly Come Dancing alongside MCFly's Harry Judd according to digitalspy.co.uk.
The Australian singer will appear on the show alongside fellow celebrities such as footballer ROBBIE SAVAGE , boxer AUDLEY HARRISON as well as comedian RORY BREMNER. The hugely popular BBC sees a variety of contestants paired with a professional dance partner and compete each week performing different routines. Returning to host the show will be SIR BRUCE FORSYTH and Tess Daly, with Claudia Winkleman presenting the Sunday night results show. The hopefuls will begin the contest on Saturday (10.09.2011).
The 28-year-old model first began her career by appearing in long running Australian soap opera Neighbours. However, she left the show in 2002 to start her music career and released the single Kiss, Kiss which reached number one in several countries along with her album Footprints. She has also managed to further her career in the U.S. by appearing in CSI: Miami, Prison Break as well as 2006 martial arts film D.O.A. Dead or Alive. She is also currently filming new movie Red Herring which is the story of a Las Vegas detective who uncovers an assassin after investigating his best friends.
