Fact: Former mobster Johnny Fratto, a regular guest on U.S. shock jock Howard Stern's radio show, has died after losing his battle with lung cancer. The 61 year old, who also owned Los Angeles bike customisation firm Beverly Hills Choppers, passed away early on Thursday (05Nov15), reports TMZ.com.

Fact: Howard Stern's longtime nemesis Kevin Metheny has died, aged 60. The radio executive suffered a heart attack and passed away on Friday (03Oct14). Metheny was mentioned in the shock jock's 1993 memoir Private Parts and Paul Giamatti' played his character, who was dubbed "Pig Vomit", in the 1997 film adaptation.

Fact: U.S. shock jock Howard Stern has nominated the recently deceased Casey Kasem to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for charity. Stern took on the challenge in comedy fashion after Jennifer Aniston nominated him, by tipping a shot glass with one ice cube in it on his head.
