The Wolverine actor received treatment for the same condition last year but the cells were also removed. Jackman warned his fans “don’t be foolish like me” urging them to “wear sunscreen.”

Jackman’s first scare was in November 2013 and he warned fans with this picture on Instagram:

Jackman, according to reports in the Daily Mail, was diagnosed on Thursday (8th May) and received treatment immediately for the slow-growing form of skin cancer.

The 45-year-old actor appeared at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere with a bandage over his nose. Jackman requested that others “get check-ups and wear sunscreen,” mentioning his own struggle with the growths over the past year and hoping his fans would take heed of his warning.

This is the second scare for Jackman:

Despite his operation, Jackman was seemingly overjoyed at the prospect of attending the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere in New York on Saturday (10th May). He was joined by the majority of the main cast including Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Ellen Page. The film is due to be released on May 22nd in the UK and May 23rd in the US.
