Actor Hugh Jackman is taking his fair trade coffee company to new heights after securing a deal to package his brew for consumption in the home and office.

The X-Men star launched his Laughing Man Coffee and Tea firm in 2008 and opened his first cafe in New York in 2011 to help a struggling Ethiopian farmer and his community.

The coffee shop has become a big hit with locals, with celebrity fans including Jackman's actor pal Russell Crowe, and now the star and his business partners have signed a deal to pack the java in individual serving cups for coffee machine brand Keurig.

The K-cups will be launched in spring, 2015.

Celebrating the news, Jackman says, "We started Laughing Man Coffee and Tea to fulfill a commitment I made to share the amazing products and story of an Ethiopian coffee farmer named Dukale.

"Six years later, it's humbling to think that, through this agreement, Dukale's exceptional coffee will be enjoyed by millions through the convenience of the Keurig brewing system."
